Cow rearing and cow-based industries represent a high-potential segment with significant scope for value addition, employment generation, rural entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. Beyond dairy, the sector spans organic agriculture inputs, natural products, bio-energy, traditional wellness solutions, and allied rural industries. With proper organization and institutional support, it can contribute meaningfully to income enhancement, environmental sustainability, and inclusive growth.
The Global Confederation of Cow Based Industries (GCCI) was established to organize, integrate, and strengthen this ecosystem through a structured industrial framework. By connecting producers, entrepreneurs, researchers, institutions, and policymakers, GCCI aims to formalize the sector, promote collaboration, encourage innovation, and build a coordinated platform that enables long-term, sustainable development.

Since its establishment in December 2021, GCCI has been steadily building a structured framework for the cow-based economy by fostering collaboration, organizing industry dialogue, and initiating national-level platforms.

The Global Confederation of Cow Based Industries (GCCI) is a Section 8 organization formed to organize, coordinate and strengthen the cow-based economic ecosystem globally. GCCI works to promote entrepreneurship, research, policy alignment and sustainable development through structured industry frameworks.
GauTech 2026 is a flagship initiative organized under GCCI’s institutional framework. It serves as a global summit and expo platform to bring together entrepreneurs, researchers, policymakers, investors and stakeholders within the cow-based industry.
Entrepreneurs, gaushalas, startups, researchers, investors, institutions, policymakers and individuals interested in organized cow-based industry development can become part of GCCI through membership and structured participation.
